Role Summary
The Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focus) will design, develop, and maintain high-performing web applications and digital platforms for the organisation and its clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern front-end technologies and frameworks, coupled with a general appreciation of backend development capabilities.
This role will be central to enhancing user experience, improving system performance, and delivering scalable digital solutions across the company’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development (React)
- Build responsive and interactive web interfaces using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain a scalable frontend architecture.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of modern styling solutions like Styled Components or Tailwind CSS.
- Optimise application performance and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Basic knowledge of a backend framework (Node.js/Express, Python/Django).

Mobile Development
- Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications for Android, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks (Flutter/React Native).
- Integrate apps with APIs, SDKs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
- Optimise mobile app performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mobile-specific bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
- Manage app store deployments and ensure compliance with platform guidelines.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver well-rounded features across platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
- Participate in system testing, debugging, and application optimisation.
- Implement secure coding practices across mobile and web environments.
- Stay up to date with modern frameworks, trends, and development tools.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT or other related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Full-stack development with a demonstrable portfolio of front-end work.
- Proficiency in mobile development using Flutter or React Native.
- Strong experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services.
- Good knowledge of UI/UX principles for both mobile and web platforms.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience deploying to Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
