Job Description
Serendi Montessori School is a school that seeks to provide quality and moral education for children between the ages of 6 months and 17years through a unique play and learning method. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, and grow. We are committed to the Montessori philosophy and strive to create a community that supports the development of the whole child.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Headmaster to lead our school. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori principles, a passion for education, and strong leadership skills. As Headmaster, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic and operational functions of the school, ensuring a high-quality learning environment, and fostering a collaborative and positive school culture
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school.
- Ensure the implementation of Montessori principles and practices in the curriculum.
- Manage and support faculty and staff, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
- Oversee student admissions, enrolment, and retention processes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports the growth and development of all students.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and the community to enhance the educational experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage the school budget, ensuring financial stability and sustainability.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / Masters preferably in Education or Psychology.
- Working knowledge in Montessori System of Education.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience from the educational sector, preferably from a Montessori School.
- Must have skills in Management and Leadership.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong digital literacy (ICT) skills are required to perform Online Assessment/Supervision.
- Should be above 30 years.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and a proactive approach to effective communication in Twi and English are a must.
- Willingness to undergo Montessori practices training.
- Willingness to relocate full-time to Asuom, Eastern Region
