OBJECTIVE:
The Inventory Management Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control for all aspects of our Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Terminal operations. The Inventory Management Superintendent will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Move the inventory management system from a semi-automated system to a fully automated one.
- Ensure that Sage X3 is always updated.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all stages.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movements to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Forecast inventory needs and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy in records and compliance with established procedures.
- Implement inventory tracking systems and utilize technology to streamline processes and improve inventory accuracy.
- Analyze data and generate reports on inventory performance, including stock levels and turnover, cycle counts, and inventory aging.
- Lead a team (functional relationship) of Supply Chain Analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to inventory management and control.
- Work with the Logistics Superintendent to ensure that orders are distributed to the destinated site.
- Oversee the management of LTSA spare replenishing and ensure the spares are up to date.
- Oversee and expedite requisitions for supply and procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSc in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement.
- Master in Engineering, Business, or Management, is a plus.
- Multicultural experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in inventory management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, with experience in implementing and optimizing inventory tracking solutions.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including inventory costing methods, cycle counting, and ABC analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to inventory management and control.
