Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintenance of complete electrical equipment of the plant.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts required for maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment during the project phase.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems, including identifying and resolving issues with motors, controls, and power distribution systems etc.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations, including OSHA and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of electrical systems and equipment, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyze the cost of electrical equipment and systems, and recommend solutions to reduce costs while maintaining quality and safety
- Manage electrical projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation
- Maintaining R & M expenses within the budget.
- Monitor the power plant efficiency and control on the power generation cost.
- Ensure hygiene standards in all areas are maintained to the highest standards at a minimum above those required by BRC.
- Compliance with all process certifications (FSSC, ISO, NAFDAC, HACCP etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects
- Create technical drawings, specifications, and schematics using CAD software
- Communicate projects status, findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and Electronics engineering or related field
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in Pasta industry or FMCG industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
