The Centre for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (C-WASH) is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) in Ghana committed to expanding access to safe and sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene services for households and institutions, particularly schools and healthcare facilities.
The organization’s Head Office is located opposite the Adenta–Frafraha Foster Home in Accra, with a Field Office based in Bolgatanga, the capital of the Upper East Region.
Job Description
Centre for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (C-WASH) is seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented Female WASH Specialist from the Upper East Region.

Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing an ongoing water, sanitation, and hygiene project in Senior High Schools.
- She will contribute significantly to the successful delivery of the project, ensuring that all stated objectives and targets are achieved.
- The Specialist will work closely with the project schools and other key stakeholders to promote inclusive implementation and long-term sustainability.
- She will report directly to the Manager of the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Senior High Schools Project (WinSHS)
Required Skills or Experience
Educational Qualification
- B-TECH/BSc in Civil Engineering or Water and Sanitation. BA/BSc in Development Studies or Social Sciences.
Relevant Experience
- At least a year of experience working in the WASH sector.
Contract Duration
- One year but renewable upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
