If it's cold, FreezeLink stores, transports and builds (the latter using an in-house engineering team focused on delivering pay-as-you-go, solar-powered cold storage). As a trusted name in the logistics sector, the Ghana-based company plays a key role in delivering temperature-controlled solutions across the region.
Job Summary
This is a full-time role for a management accountant to serve as Finance Manager in Accra, Ghana. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, management, and reporting activities. The role includes preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations, and delivering financial insights to support strategic decisions.
The incumbent will help drive business growth through effective fiscal management and cost control. Effective relationship management with key stakeholders - including with national regulators and counterparts at anchor customers - is necessary to succeed in this role.

Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting principles, auditing, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Analytical skills for financial analysis, strategic planning, and cost optimization - must have sound understanding of 'unit economics'
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and financial processes effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- A professional designation with a focus on management accounting (e.g., CMA, CIMA) or a general accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Understanding/experience in using AI, to support a finance function, is preferred.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, agriculture, FMCG or the cold chain industry is advantageous
- Experience working in a multi-national and/or in the portfolio company of a private equity investor is highly desirable.
