Unichem is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead the company’s digital presence across all social platforms. The role involves developing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing online communities, analysing performance data, and enhancing Unichem’s brand visibility and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Unichem’s marketing and brand objectives.
- Plan and manage a monthly content calendar for all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Create high-quality, engaging, and brand-appropriate content (graphics, videos, captions, reels, stories).
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to produce product-focused content and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
- Manage day-to-day interactions, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
- Build and maintain strong online communities while promoting positive brand perception.
- Monitor customer sentiment and escalate relevant issues to internal teams.
- Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, impressions, conversion rates, and follower growth.
- Prepare weekly or monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Use data analytics tools to optimize content and campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product departments to align social media content with ongoing campaigns.
- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and influencers when necessary.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media for a brand or marketing agency.
- Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, and community management.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and advertising platforms.
- Ability to create or direct the creation of visuals, short videos, and motion graphics.
- Experience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or retail marketing is an added advantage
