SUMMARY
The Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager supports the Sales and Marketing Manager in implementing Afram’s sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships.
The role involves co-ordinating sales operations, supervising sales teams, developing marketing initiatives, expanding APL’s market research, and ensuring alignment between sales objectives and marketing campaigns across the company’s product portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Planning and Execution
- Support the Sales and Marketing Manager in developing and executing annual sales plans and targets.
- Monitor sales performance across regions and assist in developing strategies to achieve set targets.
- Supervise Sales Executives and ensure timely reporting on sales, debt collection, and market activities.
- Participate in key client meetings and negotiations to close sales deals and build strong customer relationships.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies and assist in managing debt recovery processes.

Required Skills or Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Publishing Studies, or a related field. A professional certificate in Marketing and a Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in publishing, media, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with digital marketing tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
