Wholistic Medical Center, a 100-bed Medical Center requests the services of the following professional as a Physiotherapist.
Job Summary
The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or pain resulting from injury, illness, or aging.
The role focuses on restoring movement and function, improving quality of life, and promoting overall health and wellness through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify patients’ functional abilities, limitations, and needs.
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions, musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment goals in consultation with patients and healthcare teams.

2. Treatment Planning and Implementation
- Design and implement tailored physiotherapy treatment plans using a range of techniques such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment programs as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and prevent recurrence.
3. Rehabilitation and Functional Restoration
- Guide patients through recovery and rehabilitation following injury, surgery, or illness.
- Support patients in regaining mobility, strength, endurance, and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
4. Health Promotion and Education
- Promote physical well-being and preventive health practices through public education and wellness programs.
- Provide advice on ergonomics, physical activity, and healthy movement patterns.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records and treatment documentation.
- Prepare progress notes and reports for referring doctors, insurance providers, or multidisciplinary teams.
6. Professional Collaboration and Development
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other health professionals.
- Stay updated on current research, techniques, and best practices in physiotherapy.
- Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) and training programs.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy
- Registration or license with a recognized professional regulatory body.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
