Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java/Kotlin Developer with a strong background in application development and hands-on experience with EMV-based systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building, enhancing, and maintaining secure and high-performance applications that integrate with payment terminals, card processors, and backend services.
This role requires a developer who understands both the technical and compliance aspects of the EMV ecosystem, including transaction processing, card data security, and POS device integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Kotlin for Android and backend environments.
- Implement and integrate EMV kernel operations for chip-based card processing.
- Collaborate with payment processors, acquirers, and gateway partners to ensure seamless EMV transaction flows.
- Work closely with hardware teams to support POS terminal integrations, device communication, and SDK management.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, EMVCo, and industry security standards.
- Debug, test, and optimize transaction flows to ensure reliability and low latency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, QA testers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document technical processes and integration guides for internal and external teams.
