Role Summary

We seek a Certi?ed Electrician to oversee, maintain, and expand our electrical systems while embracing our renewable-energy vision. The ideal candidate must be skilled in electrical system maintenance and most importantly eager to learn, innovate, and support our evolving green-technology and mechatronics projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain all electrical systems across the property and all projects.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of:
    • LV electrical distribution systems
    • Solar PV system interfaces
    • Air-conditioning systems
  • Troubleshoot power supply issues, load imbalances, and wiring faults.
  • Inspect, test, and certify electrical equipment to Ghanaian safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain solar and hybrid power systems, including inverters, batteries, and changeover systems.
  • Participate in special projects involving:
    • Green-energy engineering
    • Mechatronics and prototyping
    • Fabrication of small-scale machines & recycling technologies
  • Maintain accurate technical reports and digital maintenance records.
  • Recommend and implement safety, energy-e?ciency, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Support research and development projects with local and international partners.
  • Collaborate external electrical vendors when required.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum Technical/Vocational certi?cation in Electrical Engineering or related ?eld.
  • Energy Commission/ECG Certi?cation (Class I/II/III) required.
  • 1–2 years’ hands-on experience in electrical maintenance; hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn:
    • Solar/inverter systems
    • Battery storage systems
    • Mechatronics/fabrication
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and implement new installations.
  • Familiarity with Ghanaian electrical codes, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Experience using digital tools for daily reporting is an advantage.
