As Part Of Our Team, You Will
- Execute regional communication plans that align with corporate objectives.
- Facilitate relationships with key regional media outlets and Journalists.
- Deliver regional media coverage and formulate proactive strategies to handle public perception.
- Execute crisis communication efforts and provide guidance to regional team members.
- Collaborate with global communication teams to ensure consistent messaging and identify opportunities for improvement when identified.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of press releases and media statements in the region.
- Deliver training to the regional teams on communication standard methodology.
- Collaborate with regional partners to support communication initiatives.
- Execute regional communication activities and report their impact to senior management.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of regional events and public relations activities.
Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations or a related degree.
Experience
- 5 – 8 years’ work experience in Public Relations, Communications, Media Relations or Journalism, preferably in the extractive industry or a multinational firm and at a managerial level.
