The Women Leaders Network for Development (RFLD) is a leading Pan-African feminist organization with Observer Status at the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR).

Position: Finance Officer
Location: Accra, Ghana (Regional Office)
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (2 years, renewable)

Job Description
The Finance Officer will play a strategic role in managing the financial resources of RFLD's Ghana regional office.
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for financial planning, donor reporting, cash flow management, and compliance with international and national standards.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, ideally in the NGO/international organization sector
- Proven experience managing international donor funds (USAID, European Union, international foundations)
- Experience coordinating financial audits
- Supervisory experience with finance teams
Technical Skills - REQUIRED
- Excellent mastery of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
- In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian taxation and regulatory framework
- MANDATORY: Proven expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAGE, SAP, Xero, or similar ERP systems) with minimum 3 years hands-on experience
- Required ability to configure, customize, and manage accounting software systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling, VLOOKUPs, macros)
- Knowledge of project management systems
- Understanding of donor compliance requirements (USG, EU, UN agencies)
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms is a strong asset
- Familiarity with integrated financial management information systems (FMIS) preferred
