Position Overview
We are looking for a Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards across all departments of a luxury residential property. The Duty Manager will act as the on-site representative of management, supervising staff, handling resident and guest concerns, and ensuring that the property maintains a smooth, professional, and welcoming environment at all times.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a background in hospitality or luxury serviced residences.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Supervision
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth coordination between front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams.
- Conduct regular walk-through inspections of public areas, facilities, and staff performance to maintain cleanliness and service excellence.
- Handle guest and resident requests, complaints, and emergencies professionally and promptly.
- Ensure operational readiness for each shift and that all departments are functioning efficiently.

Staff Management & Coordination
- Supervise and support on-duty staff to ensure tasks are completed according to standards.
- Maintain discipline, grooming, and performance standards among all operational departments.
- Provide leadership during shifts, resolving issues and making on-the-spot decisions when required.
- Prepare and deliver detailed shift handover and incident reports for management review.
Resident & Guest Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for residents and guests during assigned shifts.
- Handle special requests, visitor coordination, and resident feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to maintain resident satisfaction and operational stability.
Administrative Duties
- Monitor attendance, shift coverage, and staff deployment.
- Support management in daily reporting, incident tracking, and communication logs.
- Ensure proper documentation for maintenance requests, visitor logs, and deliveries.
Emergency & Safety Oversight
- Act as the on-site leader during emergencies (power outages, medical incidents, fire alarms, etc.).
- Ensure all staff follow safety and emergency protocols.
- Coordinate with external service providers, contractors, or authorities when needed.
Required Skills or Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in hospitality, property management, or facility operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure.
- Professional appearance, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with property or facility management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
