Subsidiary: Atlantic Quarry and Concrete Products
Purpose:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes across all ATC concrete Products.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with the Production Managers, Supervisors, and other stakeholders to maintain and improve the quality of the concrete products
- Develop mix designs for production, oversee and coordinate product testing and inspection process for Concrete products to ensure optimal quality of final products is achieved and pre-determined standards of production are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Develop mix designs for all forms of concrete needs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of ATC production sites, materials, and workmen to identify and address any quality issues.
- Collaborate with Production managers, Project managers, Site supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related concerns and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality assurance and control activities, findings, and corrective actions.

- Train and educate project teams on quality control standards and best practices.
- Ensure all materials and equipment used in concrete projects meet required quality standards.
- Manage and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection records, test results, and certifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve quality control processes.
- Investigate and report on any quality-related incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures are implemented and documented.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a company-wide quality management system.
- Have oversight responsibility on general housekeeping on all production plants.
- Maintain the quality lab and ensure Lab testing equipment’s are calibrated and effective for use.
- Collaborate with Business Development Leads to gather feedback from clients regarding the quality of our products.
- Any other related task that would be assigned by superiors.
Qualifications/Experience
- First Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a related role
