The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Head: Public Affairs.
Job Description
- Plans, develops and implements strategic communication plan.
- Co-ordinates all media activities of the Association
- Train Regional, District and Local Officers on effective handing of the media
- Monitors the media landscape daily and appropriately deal with all issues concerning the Association
- Briefs management regularly on issues concerning the Association in the media and
- Strategises responses.
- Serve as the editor-in-chief of all in-house magazines, journals, articles, press releases, case studies speeches and annual reports
- Supervises the development of all in-house publicity documents and audiovisual materials
- Ensures the Association website is always up to date with information and well-maintained
- Supervises and appraises the performance of direct reports
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the General secretary from time to time
