The Role
- Provide technical support remotely and in-person, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain software and operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and assist with onboarding new employees.
- Support the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, CCTV, and other IT infrastructure.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining IT storage areas and rack enclosures.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records and ensure compliance with company security policies.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and assist with IT projects and system upgrades.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- CompTIA A+, CCNA, server administration, and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals are a strong plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or similar role.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows is essential, macOS is a plus).
- Adept with Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Zoom.
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory for user management.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
