Golden Beam Industries invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Data Officer.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
- Overseeing the entire process of data, including its acquisition, storage, and dissemination.
- Establishing policies and procedures to ensure the ethical, secure, and legal use of data
- Implementing measures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout its lifecycle.
- Developing and executing a strategic vision for how data is collected, managed, and leveraged to achieve business objectives.
- Using various analytical tools to extract insights, identify trends, uncover data gaps, and present findings to support strategic decision-making.
- Implementing robust measures to protect sensitive data from breaches and unauthorized access.
- Educating and promoting awareness among employees and stakeholders about the importance and use of data to foster a data-driven culture.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of work experience
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail
- Confidentiality
- Organisation skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- HND or degree
