The Ghana Health Service (GHS) is a Public Service body established under Act 525 of 1996, as required by the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana. It functions as an autonomous Executive Agency responsible for implementing national policies under the control of the Minister for Health through its governing Council.
GHS aims to provide and prudently manage comprehensive and accessible health services with a special emphasis on primary healthcare at regional, district, and sub-district levels. The organization's vision is that all communities have access to timely, quality, and comprehensive healthcare.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Technician located in Wa Municipal District. The Information Technology Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Daily tasks include responding to and resolving technical issues, providing customer service to GHS staff, and conducting training on IT systems and tools. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
Qualifications
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Information Technology
- Customer Service experience
- Training skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in healthcare IT is a plus
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Information Technology or related field
