Job Description
We are a forward-thinking basic school in Ghana committed to providing 21st-century education to our students.
We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and qualified Computing & Robotics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire young learners in Basic School in computing, coding, and hands-on robotics. He/she is directly responsible to the Director, School Operations, and ultimately to the CEO.
It is recommended that the candidate resides in Dome, Kwabenya, Haatso, Achimota, or environs.

Role & Responsibilities
As our Computing & Robotics Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Deliver computing lessons based on the Ghana Education Service (GES) Basic School ICT/Computing Curriculum.
- Teach practical programming concepts in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Facilitate hands-on robotics sessions using tools such as Cutebots, Micro-bits, and other microcontroller kits.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans and learning activities tailored to the age and ability of learners.
- Manage and maintain computer lab resources and robotics kits.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress.
- Organize programming or robotics clubs, competitions, or tech exhibitions.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in school events and training.
- Serve as a class teacher
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications/Experience
Candidates seeking appointment to this position must:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Education with ICT specialization.
- Have at least 1–2 years of classroom teaching experience in ICT or computing (basic school level experience is an advantage).
- Have practical knowledge and classroom experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Have hands-on experience with educational robotics kits such as Cutebots, Micro:bits, Arduino, etc.
- Have familiarity with STEM/STEAM education methodologies and creative digital teaching tools.
- Proficiency in basic networking, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting is a plus.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and developing young minds in technology.
- Ability to simplify complex computing and coding concepts for basic school learners.
- Creative, resourceful, and enthusiastic about hands-on learning.
- Willingness to undergo training or workshops in new technologies.
