Nestas International School is seeking to recruit a Cook for its vacant position.
Required Skills or Experience
Education & Certification
- Minimum of a Senior High School (SHS) certificate: vocational training in catering or cookery is an added advantage
- Certification in Food Hygiene, Safety, or Nutrition is preferred
Experience
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a cook, preferably in a school, daycare, or child-focused environment.
- Experience preparing balanced and nutritious meals for children of varying ages.
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of child nutrition, including portion control and dietary requirements for different age groups
- Ability to prepare healthy, balanced, and appealing meals suitable for children
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene, and allergen management
- Ability to plan menus in consultation with the school management or the nutritionist
- Good time management to ensure meals are served promptly\

Requirement:
- Must be able to cook Ghanaian local dishes.
- MUST LIVE IN THE ENCLAVE OF COMMUNITY 25, DAWHENYA, AFIENYA AND ABBEY COMMUNITY.
