The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and maintaining an organisation's data infrastructure to ensure its integrity, availability, and reliability.
Key duties include:
- Designing and installing databases, optimizing performance, implementing security measures, managing backups and recovery, creating user accounts and permissions, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure data is accessible and protected from unauthorized access or loss.
- Managing data loading, archiving, and storage.
- Testing and implementing database security policies and protocols.
- Automating routine maintenance tasks using scripting languages.
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to support business needs and improve systems

Required Skills or Experience
Qualification
- HND or Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office suits
