Role Purpose
Lead the IT department in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems and infrastructure that enable Telecel Ghana achieve its strategic goals. Drive operational excellence, ensure alignment with business priorities, and foster continuous innovation across all IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the IT strategy in alignment with Telecel Ghana’s business goals and ensure IT solutions meet business needs.
- Drive transformation of the IT landscape to support innovation, agility, and customer-centricity.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business strategy into actionable IT initiatives.
- Ensure reliable and efficient operation of IT systems, infrastructure, and networks nationwide.
- Manage IT budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) to meet financial targets and optimize resource utilization.
- Champion cost-effectiveness and continuous improvement across IT operations.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team with a strong culture of accountability and innovation.
- Manage vendor partnerships and ensure alignment with technology roadmaps and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong focus on operations and transformation.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale IT infrastructure and systems.
- Strong understanding of IT architecture, design, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience with data center technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with OEM roadmaps and emerging technology trends.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
