A reputable local NGO is seeking a dynamic, responsible, and young person between the ages of 30 – 35 years to be employed as a Project Driver.
PURPOSE
Responsible for meeting the general transport needs of the organization and ensuring the provision of reliable, safe, and efficient driving services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily checks on vehicles, including tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, ventilation systems, and safety equipment, to ensure proper working condition.
- Maintain vehicles in a clean condition, both inside and outside, for passenger comfort.
- Operate vehicles safely and courteously in compliance with traffic regulations.
- Report delays, accidents, or any traffic and transportation incidents promptly.
- Coordinate with management and staff to schedule major or periodic vehicle maintenance, minimizing service interruptions.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including trip sheets,log books, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident/accident reports, and vehicle condition reports.
- Deliver letters, parcels, and other courier items as required.
- Run official errands for the office.
- Submit monthly reports on driving activities and vehicle status.
- Perform other tasks that would be required of you.

Required Skills or Experience
- Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or a Technical/Vocational certificate (NVTI 1 & 2 or National Certificate 1 & 2).
- Any additional post-TVET/SHS certification will be an advantage.
- Certificate in Defensive Driving is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of accident-free driving experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proven experience in long-distance driving.
- Person must be between 30 -35 years.
