As a member of our Consulting leadership team, you will be required to provide strategic leadership in growing our PFM portfolio and supporting the service line to be recognized as a leading PFM service provider. This will involve building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the public sector and our development partners to help drive the reform agenda in a more sustainable and effective manner.
You will also be required to work closely with the leadership team in delivering innovative PFM solutions to our public sector clients and assist them in meeting the increasing demands related to the changing PFM landscape. We require the skills and expertise of a PFM Manager to join our consulting team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess public finance policies, frameworks, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical assistance and policy recommendations to government agencies and stakeholders on public finance management.
- Collaborate with international organizations and other local stakeholders to promote best practices in public finance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on public finance issues, including policy recommendations and impact assessments.
- Facilitate training and capacity-building workshops for public sector entities on public finance management.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of public finance reforms and initiatives.
- Contributing to thought leadership on emerging issues in public financial management.
- Support business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.

To qualify for the role, you must have the following:
Technical Skills And Experience
- Consulting experience is highly desired.
- At least 10+ years of relevant working experience in public finance management, preferably in a developing country context.
- Proven experience in policy analysis, economic research, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral English.
- Execution focused and proven ability to get things done.
Educational And Academic Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Public Finance, Economics or Business Administration from a reputable institution.
- An advanced degree from a reputable institution will be a bonus.
