Q Capital Microfinance Limited, a leading financial institution dedicated to providing accessible and innovative financial solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team.
Position Summary
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations. This role is critical in supporting the organization’s commitment to integrity, accountability, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across departments and processes.
- Review and evaluate financial operations for efficiency and compliance.
- Identify risks and recommend improvements in internal control systems.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management to strengthen operational and financial practices
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably within the finance/microfinance sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
