Bame Academy is the training arm of Bame Consult. We help African immigrants globally and learners across Africa become client?ready (to serve their own clients) with digital skills and the business systems to turn these skills into income. Our flagship program, Digital Marketing, combines live workshops, hands?on projects, and mentoring so learners leave with a portfolio, a productised service, and a prospecting pipeline.
Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for a Digital Marketing Tutor. The Digital Marketing Tutor will be responsible for developing and delivering the digital marketing curriculum, conducting training sessions, and providing support to students. Key tasks as elaborated below will include but not limited to creating lesson materials, evaluating student progress, and staying updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies. The role also involves collaborating with other tutors and staff to ensure a comprehensive educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach at most 2 live workshop/week (90–120 min) and 1 office hour/week on Zoom/Meet.
- Prepare/update slides and practical demos with practical examples for implementation.
- Grade assignments within 72 hours; provide concise feedback when helpful.
- Maintain simple learner portfolios (evidence, screenshots, links) in the LMS.
- Track learner progress in LMS/CRM and collaborate with admin staff.
- Guide capstone projects with partner SMEs (light live ad spend may occur).
- Uphold accessibility: transcripts, audio?only options, compressed recordings; support learners on low data/mid?range phones.
- Safeguarding & wellbeing: model respectful communications, escalate concerns per policy, and practice safer engagement norms.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years hands?on digital marketing experience for SMEs/startups with quantifiable results.
- Confident with Meta Ads, Google Ads and GA4.
- Experience in SEO and SEM
- Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design
- Excellent presentation and Public Speaking skills
- Ability to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms
Desirable Qualifications
- Relevant teaching certifications or qualifications are a plus
- Experience with at least one landing?page builder (Framer/Webflow/Carrd/etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Education, IT or related field
