Akofresh is a Green Cold Chain Enterprise dedicated to providing smallholder farmers in Ghana with practical and affordable preservation services to curb post-harvest losses. Our innovative solar-powered cold storage technology extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables for up to 21 days, making fresh produce more accessible and sustainable for longer periods.
Role Description
As part of our mission to build inclusive innovation, we are launching a structured internship and volunteer program to:
- Support our internal projects and operations
- Develop the practical capacity of students and graduates
- Provide mentorship and learning opportunities
Interns will be matched with existing staff for guided supervision and skill development. Each intern will complete two main deliverables, with progress tracked through reports and presentations.

Qualifications
- Strong research and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for sustainability and agricultural innovation
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program
