SIIMT University College, based in Ghana, is renowned for its outstanding IT programs and technical vocational courses. Established in 2013 in Labone, Accra, the college relocated in 2018 to its current premises near the Nima Police Station, Accra. Receiving accreditation from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) in 2019, SIIMT is affiliated with the University of Cape Coast for offering undergraduate programs. Additionally, it is registered with the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) to provide a variety of technical and vocational courses.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Robotics & IoT Tutor located in Accra. The Robotics & IoT Tutor will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the field of Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). They will create lesson plans, deliver lectures, conduct practical sessions, and evaluate student progress. The tutor will also provide support and mentorship to students, helping them to complete projects and understand complex concepts.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Robotics and IoT, including hands-on experience
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills, particularly in technical and practical contexts
- Ability to develop lesson plans, deliver lectures, and conduct practical sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Experience in curriculum development and educational technology is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Prior teaching experience in a similar role is beneficial
