Jhpiego is an international, non-profit health organization affiliated with the John Hopkins University. For 50 years and over and in over 155 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families. Jhpiego works with health experts, governments and community leaders to provide high-quality health care for their people. Jhpiego develops strategies to help countries care for themselves by training competent health care workers, strengthening health systems and improving delivery of care.

Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experiences, Skills and Abilities
- MPH or equivalent advanced degree
- At least 7 years’ related experience managing donor funded projects or research studies, or other work relevant to the position (e.g., developing or implementing programs, working in health/development sector, overseas experience, working with donor or multilateral agencies, business development, or grants management)
- Certified in PM@Jhpiego (Jhpiego’s internal project management curricula) or PMD Pro, or will be within 60 days of hire
- Experience implementing USG programming strongly preferred
- Experience supervising and mentoring staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work proactively, organize and manage own work and assist others to do the same
- Prepared and submitted on time high quality reports for donors/funders
- Managed partners as part of a consortium
- Successfully developed, analyzed, and reviewed budgets
- Successfully developed work plans in collaboration with multiple partners
- Understanding of global health, development program and financial management principles
- A commitment to responsiveness and to supporting a positive team culture
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Have experiences working in targeted province; speaking local language is an added value
- Ability to travel within the country
