About Fish Africa
Fish Africa is building the communications infrastructure for African businesses, offering SMS, voice, airtime, and data delivery via API or dashboard. We help fintechs, delivery platforms, NGOs, and governments engage users at scale.
Role Summary
As Head of Product, you will lead the development and scaling of Fish Africa’s CPaaS platform. You’ll work closely with engineering, customer solutions, and leadership to define the roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure that our product consistently meets the real-world needs of African businesses.

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product roadmap based on business strategy, market feedback, and platform metrics
- Prioritize features based on value, effort, urgency, and alignment with use cases
- Work with the engineering team to deliver reliable APIs, intuitive dashboards, and telco-integrated tools
- Own documentation, onboarding UX, and internal product training
- Translate customer feedback (from the Solutions Lead) into structured product specs
- Benchmark regional CPaaS competitors and ensure Fish Africa leads in usability and value
- Ensure platform scalability, uptime, and modular growth into other African markets
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years in product management (CPaaS, SaaS, telecom, fintech)
- Deep understanding of customer-facing APIs and developer UX
- Strong collaboration with engineering, marketing, and success teams
- Can manage both high-level vision and day-to-day delivery
- Bonus: experience launching products in multiple African markets
