Scope of Role
We seek a skilled Construction Engineer to join our progressive team at PUMPTECH. As the backbone of our construction projects, you will manage both the design and construction phases, ensuring a seamless transition from blueprint to final build. You will use state-of-the-art technology and methodologies to solve problems and create innovative solutions. This role demands strong technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to work within project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of construction sites and coordinate activities of subcontractors and staff.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and documents.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical advice
- Manage project resources, machinery, and materials efficiency.
- Implement safety and compliance protocols to create a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
- Report regularly on project status to senior management and clients.
- Any other assignment given to you by your supervisor/Management.

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably 2+ years.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in CAD software and MS Office; familiarity with project management software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
- Availability to visit the construction site outside of business hours, when relevant.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with high accuracy in calculations and design.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Ability to drive and possession of a driver's License is an added advantage.
