We are seeking a dedicated and skillful Village Savings and Loans Officer to join our team and help shape the narrative of our organization brand and business.
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and community-oriented individual to join our team as a cooperative & Village Savings and Loans Officer. This role involves working closely with rural communities to facilitate the establishment and management of village savings and loans groups, cooperatives development. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial literacy, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for empowering underserved communities.

Required Skills or Experience
Male applicants are highly recommended and will be given the first priority
Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, finance, economics, community development, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in community development, microfinance, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial literacy principles and experience working with underserved populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in local languages spoken in rural communities is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in remote, rural areas with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned locations.
- Commitment to the organization's mission of empowering communities and promoting financial inclusion.
