- Retain and develop branch talent while promoting an inclusive and equitable
- work environment in line with Hollard’s employment equity objectives.
- Recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to Sales Executives to enable them to meet and exceed their individual and team targets.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate governance standards, regulatory
- requirements, and Hollard’s internal policies and procedures.
- Oversee the accurate and secure maintenance of branch records in accordance
- with the company’s corporate records management policy.
- Ensure effective management of human resource matters for all categories of employees and agents, including performance management and compliance with HR policies.
Required Skills or Experience
- A university degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field is required
- Advance Diploma in Insurance, ACII or related professional qualification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in managerial or supervisory roles.
- Have strong knowledge of insurance products, rating principles and risk assessment.
- Proficient in underwriting practices, including the ability to interpret policy wordings and understanding how underwriting impacts claims.
- Understand claims procedures and risk assessment principles
- Proven ability in prospecting and business development
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent Communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
