The Financial Controller will lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with IFRS, Bank of Ghana regulations, and other relevant legislations.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning, while actively contributing to shaping the bank’s transformation and growth agenda.
Are You Someone Who Can
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with IFRS, Bank of Ghana regulations, other relevant legislations and internal standards.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and scenario analysis.
- Support the CFO in liaising with external auditors.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, building capacity and promoting a performance-driven culture.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and operational efficiency across all finance functions.
- Contribute to the digital transformation of finance processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to drive profitability, operational excellence, and value creation.
Requirements
You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have
- Relevant Degree
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
- Deep understanding of IFRS, tax laws and banking regulations
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICA Ghana, ACCA, etc)
- Qualified Member of CIT Ghana – an advantage
- Qualified Member of CFA – an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership in team development
