Kofa is looking for a Social Media & Content Creator to execute bold, high-quality content that engages, excites, and grows our audience. You’ll be instrumental in bringing our creative strategy to life— capturing, editing, and publishing content that amplifies our mission of electrifying Africa with sustainable energy.
This role is perfect for a content creator who thrives on execution, stays ahead of trends, and knows how to turn ideas into engaging social media moments.

Responsibilities:
- Shoot, edit, and post high-quality photo & video content that fits Kofa’s voice
- Write compelling copy that sparks conversations and drives engagement
- Collaborate with the creative team to maintain brand consistency and strong storytelling
- Track content performance and adjust strategies to hit key engagement benchmarks
- Post at least 3x per week, blending original content with viral trends
- Drive significant audience growth, increasing Kofa’s followers and engagement 10x
- Execute social media campaigns, working closely with the wider marketing team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Proven track record of growing social media followings—provide examples of engagement and follower growth for brands and personal platforms
- Proficiency in photo & video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva, or similar)
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand captions and posts
- Experience managing social media analytics, using data to refine content strategies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team
- Passion for sustainable energy and Kofa’s mission to revolutionize energy access in Africa
