Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the job position of Manager: Research.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
- To provide operational support for the performance of the Research functions of the Fund.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises the collection of data for the formulation of policies;
- Facilitates the preparation of the strategic plan of the Fund;
- Implements the programmes and activities of the Unit;
- Provides inputs for the development of guidelines and strategies for the conduct of research, monitoring and evaluations of the Boards
- Prepares and produces fact sheets, policy briefs, research findings and reports;
- Provides inputs for the development of research agenda, research proposals and the preparation of resource mobilisation plan;
- Leads in the conduct of research;
- Collates data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Unit;
- Facilitates the preparation of annual reports of the Fund;
- Collates data for the preparation of the annual budget and work plan of the Unit;
- Supervises and appraises the performance of subordinate staff of the Unit;

Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Project Management or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution;
- A minimum of one (1) year relevant post Bachelor’s degree work experience in a relevant organization;
