Job Purpose
This role trains to qualify as Legal counsel whose scope is to support the lead counsel in the general management of legal matters and commercial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Training areas:
- Provide legal support to the business development team on tender and bid documents.
- Undertake general in-house legal work and provide support to various departments as required.
- Handle corporate secretarial matters, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate governance standards.

Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Be a qualified lawyer and member of Ghana Bar Association.
- Master of Laws/LLM or similar from Ghana and/or other Common law jurisdiction is an added advantage.
- 0 - 3 years PQE.
- An Engineering background and/or experience in an Oil and Gas setting is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and contract law.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional legal matters is an advantage.
- Organised, responsible and punctual.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation.
