Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic instruction across Cambridge IGCSE and A-level Biology with biochemistry specialisation.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to a diverse range of students' needs and learning styles.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas.
- Design STEM integration projects bridging all three disciplines
- Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams.
- Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners.
- Integrate current biotech advancements and research-based assessments into lessons.
Required Skills or Experience

- A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biomedical Sciences or related field.
- A postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of qualitative research methods.
- Expertise in risk assessment and lab management.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment procedures is a significant advantage.
- Laboratory research experience.
- Ability to teach Chemistry to IGCSE level.
- Experience with bioinformatics tools.
- Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching is desirable.
