Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons following the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of students.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to a diverse range of students' needs and learning styles.
- Use formative assessment to personalize learning (Cambridge Progression Tests/Checkpoint)
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that celebrates student voice.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas.
- Develop students' critical analysis, academic writing, and creative expression.
- Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams.
- Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners.
- Implement active learning strategies that promote critical thinking and creativity.
- Foster global citizenship through Cambridge Global Perspectives.
- Maintain strong parent partnerships through regular communication.

Required Skills or Experience
Qualification & Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, Education or related field.
- A postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Prior experience teaching Cambridge/IB English curricula.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment procedures is a significant advantage.
- Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching is desirable.
