A trusted ICT and Telecommunication Company in Ghana is looking for Network Support Engineer, for immediate employment
Job Purpose
- Network Support Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, managing, providing technical support for our Microwave and Fibre Infrastructure, and supporting our network infrastructure as well as users.
- Live business processes and standards on all tasks and working within timelines committed to clients or earlier on all issues.
- Conduct your day-to-day tasks within the values of the company
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and site survey at designated locations
- Support of all backbone services at designated locations

- Installation of client premise equipment (CPE)
- Ensure incident responses and resolutions are always within mean time to repair (MTTR)
- Configured, support and resolve radio and fibre network elements at all sites and end- user locations.
- Recommend innovative business and technical solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment as allocated, as well as emergency maintenance
- Analyze network report and provide recommendations.
- Be a team player, play a vital role in achieving team and individual project objectives
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance matters relating to your day-to-day tasks in your allocated zones are adhered to. These include the NCA, Road Authorities, EPA, etc
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and supporting networks preferably in enterprise networking or telecommunications Industry
- A proactive approach in to solving complex technical challenges
- Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and data centers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-priority network issues
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
