A leading furniture retailer is looking for a supply chain manager to join their team in Accra. The ideal candidate will oversee business growth efforts on behalf of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product delivery with Store and Warehouse Managers, ensuring policy compliance.
- Optimize logistics and after-sales service to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Manage warehouse transfers and truck fleet, optimizing routes, costs, and service quality.
- Collaborate with departments for efficient supply chain resources and performance metrics.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve operations and maintain accurate inventories.
- Ensure optimal stock levels and recommend improvements for inventory and procedures.
- Develop policies for efficient, safe supply chain operations.
- Assess material handling equipment, staffing needs, and supplier performance.
- Manage warehouse and distribution centre operations and foster team development.
- Maintain stock levels across stores, warehouses, and logistics centres.

Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to foster relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of company products and logistics
