Role Description
As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining our backend systems. We work in a regulated industry, and you will work with or lead a team of cross-functional engineers to ensure our systems are secure, robust, scalable, distributed and highly performant. Your expertise in delivering the aforementioned characteristics will help the company deliver highly resilient, cost-effective applications.

Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or an equivalent level of work experience (without a degree).
- 3+ years using Java maintaining production applications (Quarkus/Spring Boot).
- 2+ years of proficiency Golang maintaining production applications.
Preferred for at least 1
- Certifications in Google Professional Cloud Developer
- Agile development skills and experience
- Experience working in a fintech environment
