Sunda International is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to oversee payroll and benefits administration across Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, optimizing compensation structures, and managing employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate should have strong payroll expertise, regional HR knowledge, and experience handling cross-border compensation & benefits processes. Prior experience managing compensation and benefits in multiple countries will be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Compensation Strategy & Payroll Management – Oversee payroll operations and ensure competitive, compliant compensation structures across Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory payroll & benefits requirements in the region.

- Employee Benefits Administration – Manage benefits programs, including health insurance, pensions, bonuses, and other rewards, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Data & Reporting – Maintain standardized reports on compensation trends and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
- HR Systems & Process Improvement – Support the implementation of EHR and payroll systems across different locations to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (HR, Finance, or Business-related background preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years in Compensation & Benefits or Payroll Management, with multi-country exposure preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, payroll structures, and benefits regulations in Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon.
- Language Skills: Excellent English communication and writing skills (French is a plus).
- Soft Skills: High sense of responsibility, analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a service-oriented approach.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex compensation structures, analyze payroll data, and implement best practices in employee benefits.
