GIU International Christian Academy is a Christian school and a Cambridge International School in Tema. We seek applications from experienced, hardworking, and goal-oriented individuals for the Music Teacher Position.
The Music Teacher shall be responsible to the Head of HR and the Principal.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Music Teacher shall:
- Instruct students in Music and Music Theory;
- Lead the band, worship team, orchestra, choir, and other school teams;
- Ensure the proper education and training in Music for students
- Ensure and promote school discipline.

Required Skills or Experience
Candidates looking to apply for the position must meet the following requirements:
- Have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Music/Music Theory/Musical Instrument
- Have a minimum of three (3) years teaching at an international curricular school
- Must be conversant in either Cambridge International Education or the IB
- Be able to teach Music and its related skills
- Identify students' skills and develop them
