A social enterprise is an organization that uses business strategies to achieve social and environmental goals alongside profit; however, the organisation's focus should be social impact first and profits second.
Founded in 2016, our mandate is to bring together all the players in the social enterprise sector to build a stronger social enterprise ecosystem and increase its impact. Social Enterprise Ghana advocates for business-friendly policies for social enterprises and supports them access to skills, markets, and finance.

Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director
The Grants and Proposals Development Manager is responsible for ensuring Financial Sustainability of the organization by mobilizing various resources through proposal development, fundraising, corporate sponsorship and partnership, social enterprise model promotion.
Responsibilities
- In charge of Proposal Development and Resource Mobilization
- Develop Full proposal, Concept Notes and Budgets to engage partners and donors
- Develop and engage new partners especially corporates and international donors
Required Skills or Experience
Applicant must have the following
- Masters in Business Administration- Marketing, Accounting, Finance, etc
- Experience in Resource Proposals Writing, Fundraising and Partnership development.
- Minimum 5 years Experience in for-profit, NGO or social enterprises
- Practical Skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
