Full Job Description - Read Carefully
We are seeking a Technical Sales Support to join our Pumps Sales Team. The sucessful candidate will be responsible for plannining, organising, and providing technical expertise on products and services, using specialised knowledge of slurry pumps, e.g., the composition, uses and maintenance of the products and services. Represents and sells Metso’s products and services to customers by visiting, building new and maintaining relationships with existing customers. In this position, you will report to the Head of Consumables – Africa. This position is mainly located in Ghana.
TEAM YOU BELONG TO
You will join the Pumps Sales Team and work closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as Mining Customers, Engineering & Drawing Offices, Complex Proposals Commercial Team, Project Execution Team, Key Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Product Lines, Quote and Order Management Teams and Product Support Teams.

- Technical Background (Understand & read technical Drawings)
- Mining sales background with customer relations
- Admin. – quote registers; sales forecasting; sales budgets etc.,
- Communicator – Handle customer needs & customer complaints
- Handle stress in breakdown situations
- Plan & use your own initiative
- Follow–up on quotes, as well as pursue back orders & lead times
- Diplomatic negotiation skills
- Willingness / Ability to travel
