Responsibilities
- Content Development: Gather relevant data, impact stories, and success metrics from GFRA team members, project reports, and stakeholders and distill technical content into reader-friendly, concise language that is accessible to diverse audiences. Ensure all factsheets are culturally and gender-sensitive appropriate.
- Design and Layout: Develop an engaging, consistent layout for all fact sheets, ensuring each is visually appealing and easy to navigate. Incorporate graphics, charts, and icons to support content and enhance visual appeal. The design layout and colors must align with USAID branding and marking requirements.
- Review and Revisions: Submit drafts of each fact sheet for review, incorporating feedback promptly. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with GFRA’s messaging.
Deliverables
- Seven completed fact sheets, each approximately 1-2 pages.
- Drafts for each fact sheet for review and approval by GFRA.
- Final designs in high-resolution print and digital formats, including editable files.
Duration
- March 2025 to January 2026
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills with a proven ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience with graphic design, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively and integrate feedback through multiple review cycles.
- Ability to work under tight schedules, manage extensive review processes, and incorporate feedback.
- Open-mindedness to iterative review cycles, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with development communications is an asset.
