Job Description
Position Summary
A growing real estate company is in search of a talented Software Developer to join its team. This professional will serve as a member of the Software Development team and will work in a constantly evolving environment to translate the needs of different teams into systems development, and aid in the innovation and creation of company software and programs required to effectively run the company.
The ideal candidate is expected to work full time, from Monday to Friday from the company head office in Tema.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to determine best practices and company/departmental requirements for the software.
- Develop technical specifications.
- Design and write new software programmes.

- Analyze and test programs and products before final launch.
- Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address user concerns.
- Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
- Solicit feedback from staff concerning the performance of new systems and modify them if necessary.
- Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information.
- Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.
- Prepare and submit a monthly report
Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Professional Certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive working experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of programming/coding languages such as PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, C++, HTML, Cloud hosting etc.
- Good communication and report writing skills (verbal and written).
