The Laboratory Technician will provide technical support to our laboratory team, conducting tests, analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory procedures, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results, procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, solutions, and standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory results are accurate and reliable.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a clinical or research laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with laboratory staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician
